You have arrived at the online site of the church of St Mary, an English-speaking community of Christian prayer and worship within the Anglican Communion, located in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

Sunday morning at 10:30 we meet for a service
in downtown Belgrade in the Caritas Building,
Visegradska Street 23. Go in the outer door, past
the guard, up the first flight of stairs and turn left

We also meet for services, prayer and Bible
studies during the week. For a schedule of

People come to St Mary’s for many reasons, from many places, to seek and share faith and life. We are a mixed community of ex-pats and locals, Europeans, Africans, Americans, Asians and Australians – all sorts. We are a chaplaincy within the Church of England, yet we come from many backgrounds and Christian denominations.

The people of St Mary’s heed these words from the apostle Paul:

“May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God!”

Whether you are new to Serbia, a long-time resident, someone eager to glorify God or just wondering what it’s all about, you are invited!
